Welcome to episode 5. Sorry for the break last week. College started up again, and the two agriculture classes I’m taking to finish the AS in Ag are pretty “busywork intensive” so I had to make sure my schedule was in order and missed out on doing an episode.
This week I contemplate the work I need to do in the garden and what that means for growing seasons. We discuss how growing seasons might impact your story’s plot or characters regardless of the technology level and how even people outside of “ag” in your world might find it difficult to obtain their favorite treats if the growing season doesn’t cooperate. Thanks for joining me!

The Fantasy Farmer Podcast combines her love of farming with speculative fiction and author education to help authors with the care and feeding of their rural protagonists.
