In this week’s episode I talk spring planning, not just here on your homestead, but also in your fantasy and science fiction settings. I’ll mention possible causes of conflict for your characters, as well as things that may impact their journeys.
We discuss flock planning. In other words, do you want to grow your chicken flock or why not. Right now there are some things that are impacting ordering chicks or hatching eggs online and how this is affecting my flock planning. It may also impact your own stories. For example, did you know last year when we all locked down that chicks and hatching eggs were in high demand as more people started backyard flocks? Your dystopian novel may have many of the same impacts.
I’ll also discuss starting seeds, options for starting them on a space ship or space station, and why garden planning is so important.
